I started my mechanical engineering study at Budapest University of Technology and Economics

I started to work during my university studies. My first assignments were cutting plates, cleaning welding joints. A few months later I was appointed to support a new project: 8 huge marine cranes – 300t class.

These years gave me unique opportunities to work with real structures – and develop my own problem-solving method:

• get familiar with the product and the design
• then I built the equipment in my mind
• I started think about manufacturing bottlenecks and possible problems – before they can occur in the workshop
• Understand the calculation methods
• Provide improvement inputs for your customers

My problem-solving equation is a comprehensive one. It takes into account service loads, manufacturing issues, material specialties, and design problems, ensuring a holistic approach to problem-solving.

I graduated as MSc, in metallurgy and mechanical design.

The title of my master thesis: Weldability aspects of dissimilar joints between high-strength, fine grain steels

I used a calculation method to predict hardness in the HAZ at different spots. The results of this study were the basis for introducing 690 and 960MPa fine-grain steels in the production.

2011 – SLV Hannover

International Welding Engineering – I studied and made all the my exams in German language
